Ashton Campbell

MA, LPC

Ashton is a professional counselor who enjoys using his knowledge and gifts to impact children and teens. He believes that improving the lives of our youth not only increases their present quality of life, but also impacts the lives of their future children, spouses, family, and all those they encounter. Ashton received a Bachelor of Arts from Calvin College and received a Master of Arts in Counseling from Cornerstone University.

While he uses tools and strategies from various counseling philosophies, he most regularly uses both Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) approaches. In addition, he believes that partnering with parents and care-givers increases treatment and wellness outcomes. Ashton and his wife have three sons. He enjoys camping, restoring antique and vintage machines, reading, and writing. He actively sits as a board member for Beacon of Hope: a non-profit counseling ministry that serves Holland, Muskegon, and other West Michigan communities.

Ashton has a partnership with Community Mental Health of Ottawa County (CMH) and is currently only seeing CMH clients at this time. He works out of WMPS’ Holland location and sees these individuals in a calm, private practice atmosphere.
