Tamara Haase
Tamara has been working in the mental health field since 2010 with a variety of populations and many settings. She specializes in treating those who have survived traumatic experiences, particularly childhood or reoccurring traumas, and has trained in many modalities, including Brainspotting, Internal Family Systems, Play Therapy, CBT, and DBT. Her approach to therapy is the belief that everyone has the ability to heal and the capability is within the individual. The brain and body are far more brilliant than often recognized, and the capabilities to heal lie within, in parts of the brain that language and knowledge cannot access. While learning strategies to help make the day-to-day easier is helpful, healing comes from addressing what was done to you without having to reexperience the traumatic events. Tamara uses current trauma research and modalities that acknowledge this in order to help facilitate healing for her clients.
